Mercor seeks an experienced FP&A Expert for a remote, UK-based contract. You will build planning scenarios, own P&L insights, and translate data into strategic spend and headcount decisions. Collaboration with global teams and clear stakeholder communication are essential.

The role is an hourly contract from 10 August 2026 through 4 September 2026, with weekend and evening communications as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in FP&A or finance business partnering.
• Experience with P&L ownership, budgeting, and rolling forecasts.
• Monthly variance analysis and budget-to-actual reporting.
• Based in the United Kingdom with the right to work there.

Compensation: $150/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 10 August 2026 to 4 September 2026

Role Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality financial planning scenarios using expertise in FP&A, budgeting, and management reporting.
• Review and evaluate financial data to enhance AI training datasets.
• Translate accounting actuals into operational decisions on spending, headcount, and growth.
• Explain financial tradeoffs to non-finance stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate within a UK business-hours rhythm, participating in live team sessions and occasional evening communications.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 6+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or finance business partnering.
• Experience with P&L ownership, annual budgeting, and rolling forecasts.
• Ability to conduct monthly variance analysis and budget-to-actual reporting.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom and have the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Preferred

• Experience in digital media, entertainment, subscription businesses, or commercially complex businesses with substantial FP&A functions.
