Job summary

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the finance team, working fully remote from the United States.

You will partner with business leaders and finance leadership to analyze main expense drivers, support budgeting and forecasting, and deliver insights to inform cost-management strategies across the company.

The role requires 3 to 5 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders across the organization.
• Based in the United States, in the Central or Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and reports to identify trends, discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform variance analysis and explain expense variances to senior leaders.
• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes with cross-functional teams.
• Build and maintain financial models that support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Prepare and present financial reports and presentations for stakeholders and management.
• Run in-depth data analysis to surface key metrics and actionable insights, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to optimize financial operations.
