Job summary

Staples is seeking a Senior Analyst II, Financial Planning & Analysis, to support the Outbound Delivery function within the Supply Chain Finance team. You will analyze delivery performance, help with budgeting and forecasting, and provide insights on transportation expenses, productivity, and cost-to-serve.

Qualifications

• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis skills.
• Experience with large data sets to identify trends and risks.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Proficiency with BI and reporting tools for KPIs and dashboards.
• Experience supporting transportation, logistics, or supply chain functions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly P&L analysis and reporting for Outbound Delivery, including transportation costs and related drivers.
• Support budgets and forecasts by analyzing shipment volume and route productivity.
• Build and deliver financial and operational reports measuring cost per order, on-time delivery, and productivity.
• Prepare monthly business reviews highlighting variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Analyze delivery optimization initiatives and cost-to-serve opportunities.
• Enhance reporting through BI tools, automation, and data quality improvements.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain leaders to influence cost, service, and customer experience.
