Job summary

Big Ideas Social Media Inc. is seeking a meticulous, commercially minded remote Financial Analyst to support our US-based client in the beauty and wellness sector. You will transform transactional data into financial models, variance analyses, and executive narratives, reporting to the FP&A Manager.

This is a full-time, contractual freelance role for an initial 3-month trial while working remotely. A favorable outcome may lead to contract renewal with potential benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 4–5+ years FP&A or corporate finance experience.
• Experience supporting omnichannel DTC brands.
• Strong business sense and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Operate NetSuite and third-party file loads into BigQuery; monitor schema changes and fix loads.
• Run Retailer door sales sync; reconcile data between Excel VBA and Google Sheets.
• Prepare monthly/ quarterly FC packs; draft variance commentary.
• Produce KPI reports and pricing/profitability analyses.
• Maintain master data and pricing schedules; support FP&A functions.
