Job summary

5C Data Centers in Ohio is seeking a Financial Analyst to support core planning, modeling, and analysis as the FP&A team scales.

This role owns month-end variance analysis and reforecasting, partnering with the Director of FP&A on financial models and templates, with ownership of forecast development and assumption-setting. Hands-on experience in data center, hyperscale infrastructure, or related commercial real estate finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 4+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting.
• Direct experience in data center/hyperscale/colocation or construction finance is required.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling within an established model.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end variance analysis on opex and operating costs, explaining drivers.
• Build and maintain rolling forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Partner with FP&A Director on financial models and templates.
• Support development and maintenance of operating budget and forecast.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to inform business decisions.
• Develop dashboards and analyses for leadership visibility.
• Gather inputs from across the company for planning and forecasting.
