Pearl Talent is helping a seed‑stage US healthcare tech company hire a Founding Senior Full‑Stack Engineer. You will own the donation-management platform from concept to production, spanning Python/Django backend, React frontend, PostgreSQL, and AWS infrastructure.

You’ll work with the CEO and Head of Technology, ensuring HIPAA‑compliant handling of PHI data, rapid delivery, and scalable architecture. Remote US-based candidates welcomed; quarterly travel to Houston/New York for onboarding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at seed to Series A startups or small autonomous teams.
• Took at least one product/major feature from zero to production as an early engineer.
• Full-stack production experience across frontend, backend, and database (Python/Django, React, PostgreSQL preferred).
• Hands-on coding in an IC role within the last 2 years.
• Public GitHub profile, portfolio, or open-source/side projects available for review.

Responsibilities

• Build the first donation management platform for health systems, replacing the current email-based process.
• Own new products for healthcare providers, health systems, and medication supply operations.
• Translate complex 50-state compliance rules and multi-state transfers into workable business logic.
• Partner with the Head of Technology on product direction and key engineering decisions.
