Job summary

OMNIVERSE is seeking an engineer to own and improve player-facing features in our React app, while building secure server-authoritative services for games, wallets, promotions, payments, and accounts. You will enhance Supabase/Postgres schemas, security, and observability, ensuring real-time consistency and auditable systems.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with TypeScript and modern React.
• Backend experience with PostgreSQL and API or serverless service development.
• Experience designing or maintaining transactional systems where correctness and auditability matter.
• Ability to work independently in an early-stage environment and communicate technical tradeoffs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve player-facing features in the existing React application.
• Develop secure server-authoritative services for games, wallets, promotions, payments, and account operations.
• Integrate payment, identity, compliance, analytics, and communications providers.
• Review AI-assisted code and establish practical engineering standards for human and agent contributors.
• Write tests and documentation that make high-risk systems understandable and maintainable.
• Collaborate directly with the founders and product/game teams on priorities and release decisions.
