Job summary

Crossing Hurdles seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to build agentic AI systems for U.S. Government missions. This full-time, remote role emphasizes delivering production-ready pipelines from prototype through scaling in high-security environments.

You will own Python-based ML infrastructure, design multi-agent systems with human-in-the-loop autonomy, and partner with government teams to translate mission needs into robust technical solutions, while maintaining reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Proficient Python development with end-to-end ownership.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and agentic systems.
• Experience building or maintaining data pipelines for ML.
• Ability to operate independently in partner-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy agentic AI systems for U.S. Government missions from prototype to production.
• Design and integrate LLM applications, including multi-agent systems and human-in-the-loop autonomy.
• Collaborate with government partners to translate mission needs into technical systems.
• Develop and maintain data curation and evaluation pipelines for model training.
• Create infrastructure for model inference, experimentation, evaluation, and deployment.
