Adelphi is seeking a Forward Deployed Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own end-to-end, agentic, full-stack systems built on frontier models for defense and intelligence customers. The role combines software development, LLM Ops, and secdevops practices in a fast-paced environment. The position is based in the DC/Metro area with 25% travel and a preference for active U.S.

government clearance. You will work with LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, Claude Agent SDK, and similar tools to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end LLM-backed agentic systems for defense/intelligence contexts.
• Ability to integrate LLMs with secure, air-gapped or classified environments.
• Proficient in modern agent frameworks and evaluation/observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of agentic, full-stack systems for defense/intelligence customers.
• Build and deploy ML services with LLMs, embeddings, RAG, and agent orchestration.
• Collaborate with customers to scope problems and deliver novel AI applications under constraints.
• Codify reusable patterns to speed up delivery and ensure reliability.
