Job summary

LMI Government Consulting is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to translate advanced technologies into production-ready solutions for government customers. You will work with the Sales Engineering team and engage directly with clients on-site, in a hybrid format, or remotely as required, including occasional travel across the United States.

This role requires an active Secret clearance and hands-on experience with Python, PostgreSQL, LLMs, and full-stack development with MEAN/TypeScript.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP and related AI tech.
• Proven MEAN stack and full-stack TS development.
• Experience with Angular and web apps.
• Strong containerization and CI/CD knowledge (GitLab).
• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud and DoD/federal environments.
• Ability to integrate software with existing processes and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Integrate the LIGER GenAI platform into customer processes.
• Develop new features and enhancements for LIGER.
• Ensure deployment and initial configuration for 60–180 days post-sale.
• Engage with customers in person, hybrid, or remote formats.
• Conduct proof-of-concept demonstrations of LIGER.
• Document customer requirements and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and provide timely solutions.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites across the United States.
