Job summary

Tomorrow.io is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (Defense) to bring our platform into mission environments, collaborating with defense customers to deploy, integrate, and operationalize our SaaS solutions. You will partner with BD, Product, Engineering, and partners to embed capabilities in real-world operations.

You will travel 50%+ to sites and events, design API integrations with defense platforms, and influence the product roadmap with field insights.

Qualifications

4–8 years of customer-facing technical experience.
Experience deploying SaaS platforms or cloud solutions.
Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance (active preferred).
Experience with government/defense programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

Deploy and operationalize Tomorrow.io's SaaS platform, APIs, and data services within U.S. defense environments.
Travel 50%+ to customer sites and field events as the primary technical resource.
Design and troubleshoot API integrations with defense systems and platforms.
Support technical discovery, demonstrations, pilots, and growth opportunities with Defense BD team.
Build relationships with operators and stakeholders to drive long-term adoption.
Capture field insights to influence product roadmap and capabilities.
Develop deployment playbooks and technical documentation for scalable implementations.
Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver solutions.
