Job summary

Pearl Talent is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our remote-first team, collaborating directly with clients in the US and EU. You will own deployments from integration to adoption, tailoring the product to client workflows and data while driving successful outcomes.

You will act as the primary technical liaison, running discovery calls, debugging live with stakeholders, and delivering scalable solutions that couple speed with long-term reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a software engineering role with direct client- or field-facing exposure (solutions engineering, implementation engineering, or technical consulting)
• Full-stack or backend proficiency with hands-on production code experience — reading and writing code, not configuration-only work
• Demonstrated experience building custom integrations, scripts, or internal tooling to connect a core product with external client systems
• Track record of owning technical implementations end-to-end: scoping, building, shipping, and supporting
• Experience running technical discovery sessions or live debugging with client stakeholders
• C1+ English (CEFR) — primary technical contact for US-based client accounts

Responsibilities

• Lead technical onboarding and implementation for new clients, configuring the product to fit their workflows, data, and systems
• Build custom integrations, scripts, or lightweight tools to bridge gaps between the core product and each client's existing stack
• Translate ambiguous client requirements into a scoped technical plan and execute it independently
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts during and after rollout
• Run technical discovery calls and debug issues live with client stakeholders
• Communicate solutions in terms non-technical audiences can act on
• Identify recurring friction points across clients and feed them back to product and engineering as structured input
• Monitor deployed solutions for reliability and performance, fixing or flagging issues before the client notices
• Document deployment patterns and reusable components so future rollouts move faster
• Balance delivery speed against long-term durability of deployed solutions
