Internal Revenue Service is seeking an experienced Fiscal Forensic Investigator to perform complex exempt organization examinations and lead investigative teams. This role involves forensic financial analysis, coordination with prosecutors, and providing expert testimony on findings.

The incumbent will interview key financial players, plan investigations, and assist with subpoenas and warrants related to financial information. Telework eligibility is available as per agency policy.

Qualificações

• Requires college/university degree, generally recognized by US Dept. of Education.
• Foreign education credentials may be used to meet requirements and must be demonstrated as equivalent.
• Evaluation services such as NACES or AICE recommended for credentialing.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts forensic investigations in complex exempt organizations examinations.
• Leads teams on audits and related matters with investigators and agents.
• Provides expert testimony in federal or state criminal and civil proceedings.
• Interviews accountants, financial institution representatives, and other stakeholders.
• Assists with subpoenas and search warrants to obtain financial information.
