The position is remote with travel as needed; candidates should reside near Columbia, SC or surrounding areas, or be willing to work from a home-based office.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college.
• Requires Professional Engineer (PE) license; multi-state licensing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform power system analysis and evaluate failures in electrical systems and installations.
• Investigate origin and cause of losses, failures, and damage in electrical equipment.
• Provide expert opinions and testify as an expert witness when required.
• Collaborate with other experts to produce detailed reports and support litigation efforts.
