American Exchange Group is seeking a freelance Packaging Designer for footwear brands on a remote, project-based basis. You will develop packaging, dielines, and 3D renderings while coordinating with design, product development, and overseas vendors to ensure brand integrity and production-ready artwork.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in packaging design with a strong portfolio, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in packaging design within footwear or related consumer products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating concept to production execution.
• Expert understanding of dielines, substrates, finishes and production requirements.
• Proficiency in branding and graphic design principles.
• Experience with printers, factories, and overseas packaging vendors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop packaging for footwear and related products aligned with brand identities.
• Create dielines, mockups, and 3D renderings as required.
• Prepare factory-ready and printer-ready files meeting production specs.
• Collaborate with design, product development, merchandising, marketing, and overseas vendors.
• Review samples and production materials for color, print quality and finishes.
• Manage multiple packaging projects and deadlines across collections.
• Produce supporting graphic assets for launches and marketing materials.
