Job summary

Global Impact Collective is seeking a Strategy Associate to grow our food systems and sustainability portfolio. You will research complex questions, analyze data, and develop client-ready deliverables while supporting workshops and stakeholder engagement.

You’ll work alongside senior consultants, gaining hands-on experience from day one, with mentorship and increasing responsibility in a small, mission-driven consultancy based in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sustainability, food systems, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in consulting, research, sustainability, or related area.
• Genuine interest in food systems and social impact.
• Strong research skills in qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Analytical thinker who draws well-supported conclusions.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication for client deliverables.
• Tech fluency with Microsoft Office, Miro, Claude, and AI tools; willingness to learn new platforms.
• Curious, adaptable, client-service mindset, and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel and attend Seattle meetings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver multi-stakeholder client projects with high-quality deliverables.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and documentation.
• Prepare agendas, notes, and follow-up items for meetings.
• Support client communications and status updates.
• Lead primary and secondary research including literature reviews and interviews.
• Synthesize findings into clear insights and recommendations.
• Assist with budget tracking, invoicing, and expense reconciliation.
