Job summary

West Capital Lending, Inc. is seeking a motivated Loan Officer for a remote role focused on the Miami and South Florida market. You will manage the loan process from application through closing in a virtual environment, originating Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM loans.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida LO license (NMLS), has 2+ years of LO/MLO experience, and excels in client relationships and communication. Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Active Florida LO license (NMLS) required.
• 2+ years as Loan Officer or Mortgage Loan Originator preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products and underwriting guidelines.
• Excellent communication, sales and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus for Miami market.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans including Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM products.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and referral partners.
• Guide borrowers through loan applications and provide clear, timely communication.
• Analyze borrower financials to recommend appropriate loan products.
• Ensure loan files meet federal, state, and investor compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with processing and underwriting to ensure timely closings.
• Stay updated on lending guidelines and market trends.
