Job summary

Cadence, the clinical AI company, seeks a Float Pool Registered Nurse to support patients by monitoring the alert board, triaging urgent needs, and providing flexible coverage across care workflows. This remote role requires an ADN and active RN license with 5+ years of clinical nursing experience.

Base pay ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 annually, with incentive opportunities. The position is fully remote in the United States, offering PTO, 401k matching, parental leave, and a home office

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience in outpatient, inpatient, telehealth, or chronic care.
• Strong clinical triage experience, including telephone or virtual triage.
• Critical care or emergency nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with Chronic Care Management programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and lab data via alert board and identify needs.
• Respond to inbound clinical questions by phone and text.
• Outreach to patients with abnormal readings to assess status and triage.
• Follow triage protocols for provider escalation or after-hours care.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions in Cadence.
• Support virtual follow-ups to reinforce care plans and adherence.
• Assist with care coordination and clinical summaries for physicians.
• Provide flexible coverage across programs (alert monitoring, CCM, APCM).
• Contribute to workflow improvements and patient experience.
