Job summary

PenBay Technology Group is seeking motivated, computer-savvy individuals for Remote Pilot Operator positions. These roles involve simulating pilot actions and ATC communications for training exercises using CRT/keyboard/VCS systems. No aviation experience is required, but familiarity with related labs and FAA standards is a plus.

This is a full-time, remote role in the United States. Candidates must have a high school diploma, strong keyboard skills, and be prepared for FAA security screening

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in a comparable position.
• Typing speed of 40 wpm with 90% accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals.
• Ability to speak clearly and be understood.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Basic familiarization with current technologic tools a plus.
• Candidates will be subject to FAA security screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CRT/keyboard/VCS setup to simulate pilot actions and communications during training exercises.
• Input appropriate entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions as directed by students.
• Translate displayed information into appropriate ATC terminology and respond via VCS with proper phraseology.
