Job summary

Florida Virtual School is hiring a Flex Personal Finance & Money Management Instructor. The position is Florida-certified, 12-month contract, and remote or school-based as assigned.

The instructor will deliver online instruction, align with state policies, and support student achievement. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree and a valid Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in the content area, with endorsements as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Valid Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in the assigned content area or active enrollment in a state-approved EPI or MAT program with either a valid Florida Statement of Eligibility or Temporary Certificate.
• Endorsements as required by the Florida Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and implement instructional activities to engage students.
• Identify and adapt resources for diverse learning needs.
• Assess curricular needs and propose improvement plans.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with families and staff.
• Collaborate with peers and participate in professional learning communities.
