Job summary

Florida Virtual School (FLVS) seeks a Florida-certified Personal Finance & Money Management Instructor to deliver high-quality online instruction. The role is a 12-month, contracted position with a remote or school-based assignment, open to Florida residents with the appropriate teaching certification.

The instructor will develop engaging online lessons, assess student performance, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in content area OR active enrollment in a state-approved EPI or MAT program with eligibility or temporary certificate.
• Endorsements as required by Florida Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and implement instructional activities that engage students.
• Identify and adapt resources for diverse learning needs and backgrounds.
• Assess curricular needs and propose improvement plans.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping procedures.
• Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues within established timelines.
