BairesDev is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in the FIX Protocol to design and maintain high-performance electronic trading connectivity solutions. You will ensure seamless communication between trading platforms and exchanges, optimizing order management systems for speed and reliability.

4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Trading Systems, or Fintech, with proven FIX protocol expertise.

Qualifications

4+ years in Software Engineering, Trading Systems, or Fintech.
Proven expertise with FIX protocol for electronic trading.
Experience building and optimizing order management systems.
Understanding of trading connectivity and low-latency networking.
Strong troubleshooting of connectivity issues in production environments.
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain trading gateways and connectivity solutions using the FIX protocol.
Implement and optimize order management systems (OMS) to handle high-volume electronic trading.
Ensure low-latency messaging and reliable data transmission across financial exchange interfaces.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex connectivity and protocol-level issues in production trading environments.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement financial messaging standards and technical specifications.
