Qualifications

• Combination of required experience, education, and training providing essential knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Equivalent to graduation from high school; AND four (4) years of journey-level fiscal support experience.
• Equivalent to an associate degree including 15 semester units in accounting, business math, finance, or related field; AND two (2) years of journey-level fiscal support experience.
• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree including 15 semester units in accounting, business math, finance, or related field.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California Driver's License by time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Perform paraprofessional, technical, and specialized fiscal work including revenue billing and collection, payroll, and accounts payable.
• Support accounting and budgeting processes; apply procedures to program functions and projects.
• Maintain and balance accounts, journals, and ledgers; review entries for accuracy.
• Prepare client statements, update schedules and fee structures, and audit calculations.
• Review and reconcile varied reports, journals, and related financial data.
