El Dorado County Office of Education (EDCOE) is seeking an Accountant (In-Person) to support accounting records, budgets, analyses and reports within the SELPA and internal departments. This full-time role is based in Placerville, CA.

The successful candidate will have two years of professional accounting experience and will work under general supervision. Initial pay is at step one of the range with comprehensive benefits including CalPERS retirement and medical/dental options.

Qualifications

• Two years of current professional experience in accounting with a demonstrated competency in accounting procedures and practices.
• Education: Formal postsecondary education may be accepted in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records, budgets, analyses and reports under general supervision.
• Support district fiscal operations for internal departments and SELPA.
