Job summary

Haven Health Group, Inc. is seeking a Physician Assistant Per Diem for Los Angeles with remote-first duties and occasional in-person LA presence. Weekend and flexible per-diem shifts provide coverage throughout the year for our telehealth-first care model.

The role emphasizes high-quality primary care via telehealth, with compensation of $70-$90 per hour and opportunities to shape Haven Health's virtual care experience while remaining clinically active.

Qualifications

• PA-C with current California license.
• Graduate of an accredited PA program; NCCPA certified.
• Experience treating LGBTQ+ patients.
• 2+ years in primary care or family medicine; or 1+ year with relevant fellowship/urgent care.
• Comfort delivering care via telehealth/virtual visits.
• Availability for weekend shifts and short-notice coverage.
• Proficient with EHR systems and virtual care workflows.
• Commitment to HIPAA confidentiality and compliant prescribing.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care across acute, chronic, and preventive visits.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage conditions (hypertension, diabetes, STIs, mental health, gender-affirming care).
• Perform in-office procedures when appropriate.
• Order and interpret labs, diagnostics, and imaging; manage prescriptions; document per protocols.
• Provide same-day and weekend coverage when core team is unavailable.
