Job summary

DuckDuckGo, a remote-first team of 400+, is seeking a Social Media And Communications Manager to shape how millions hear about our products. You will write social copy, manage communities, coordinate announcements, handle press requests, and report on performance metrics.

You will be the DRI on your projects, working closely with product, design, legal, support, and leadership to deliver impactful campaigns and measurements across channels.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in communications, including PR and social media.
• Excellent writing skills, able to explain products clearly without jargon.
• Hands-on social media experience across major platforms and content development.

Responsibilities

• Write social media copy and manage mentions and communities.
• Coordinate proactive announcements, respond to press requests, and track KPIs.
• Act as the DRI on projects from scoping through postmortem, collaborating cross-functionally.
