Job summary

National Student Clearinghouse is seeking an Architect, DevSecOps to define and advance the enterprise DevSecOps architecture, standards, governance, and roadmaps. You will work across engineering, security, operations, product, data, and business teams to modernize platforms, improve reliability, strengthen software supply chain security, and accelerate delivery through automation.

Remote-first, with potential on-site in Herndon, VA as required by department needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
10 years of experience in software engineering, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related disciplines.
Experience developing enterprise architectures, engineering standards, roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
Experience designing secure software delivery platforms and cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve enterprise DevSecOps architecture vision, standards, and roadmaps for secure, scalable software delivery.
Provide architectural leadership for enterprise software delivery platforms, CI/CD, and cloud-native environments.
Champion secure software development practices and supply chain security controls across the organization.
Lead architecture reviews, governance activities, and platform modernization through automation and engineering innovation.
