Job summary

Pitcoff Law Group in New York is seeking a Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney to lead complex business disputes, including partnerships, shareholder disputes, and contract matters. You will own strategy from inception to resolution and work directly with sophisticated clients in a remote-first environment.

The firm offers meaningful flexibility, but also facilitates in-person collaboration with monthly NYC meetings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of substantial commercial litigation experience.
• Experience handling complex business disputes, including partnerships/shareholder issues.
• Strong motion practice, discovery, negotiations, and case strategy.
• First-chair trial experience strongly preferred.
• Admission to the New York Bar; Florida admission a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex commercial litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Develop and execute litigation strategy in partnership, shareholder, business divorce, contract, and fiduciary duty disputes.
• Draft and argue substantive motions.
• Lead discovery, including complex document discovery and depositions.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
• Negotiate strategically on behalf of clients.
• Advise founders, executives, and companies on litigation strategy and risk.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients.
