Job summary

Coinbase is hiring an Internal Audit Analytics Associate to join the IT Internal Audit team within Finance. You will extract, analyze, and validate large datasets to assess IT and security controls across Coinbase's global technology infrastructure.

This role focuses on SQL-based extracts, testing data ETL, and designing metrics dashboards. You will partner with Engineering, Security, and IT stakeholders to translate audit requests into actionable findings for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a data analytics role in tech/fintech/finance sectors.
• Strong ability to write complex SQL and work with large datasets.
• Experience verifying IT/security controls and ETL data quality.

Responsibilities

• Execute in-depth data analysis to assess IT and security control effectiveness using SQL.
• Validate system and model changes and document results for stakeholders.
• Produce accurate data extracts/reports from multiple sources for audit findings.
• Test ETL data flows and ensure data completeness across pipeline stages.
• Design and enhance metrics dashboards to measure IT/security performance.
