Job summary

Atomic Vest is seeking a Project Manager & Financial Controller to drive high-priority cross-functional projects, starting with Europe expansion, while ensuring accurate financial operations across entities. You will report to the CFO and FinOp, coordinating with finance, compliance, legal, and operations leadership.

You’ll build the project management function from the ground up, manage key programs, back up treasury, and support tax and controls as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience managing regulatory, licensing, or market expansion projects in financial services.
• Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com or similar).
• Meaningful finance and accounting experience in fintech, banking, brokerage, or RIA.
• Comfort navigating regulated multi-entity structures, including international subsidiaries.
• Understanding of US corporate tax compliance and external tax advisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead major cross-functional projects through completion, including expansion into Europe.
• Build the project management function as the initial hire with processes and reporting standards.
• Plan and run projects across finance, compliance, legal, and operations from scoping to delivery.
• Maintain a company-wide view of timelines, risks, and resources; elevate issues early.
• Prepare clear status updates for leadership and run effective project meetings.
• Back up treasury and oversee cash positioning, bank relationships, and forecasts.
