Job summary

Coinbase is seeking an Accounting Manager, Prime Financing, to own end-to-end accounting for prime financing and brokerage. You will build processes, lead a team through monthly close and quarterly/annual reporting, and partner across functions to ensure accurate financials as the business scales.

You will work with NetSuite, FloQast, and Google Suite, driving automation while maintaining strong internal controls and regulator readiness. The role is remote-first with quarterly in-person sessions.

Qualifications

• CPA designation with 9+ years of progressive accounting experience in fintech or financial services.
• Direct experience with financing, lending, or prime brokerage accounting at a publicly traded company, including SEC reporting.
• Proven track record building accounting processes and internal controls from the ground up with automation.

Responsibilities

• Own review and approval of monthly financing accounting entries and reconciliations.
• Build scalable financial processes and controls for prime financing, including SOPs for SOX compliance.
• Lead monthly close, quarterly reporting, and annual audit processes to be audit-ready.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate regulatory developments into accounting guidance.
• Design and implement new controls for platform and brokerage accounting aligned with growth.
