Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking a Product Assessor to join our growing team. The role involves analyzing results from fire resistance testing and producing product assessments. A technical mindset with strong organisation, project management, commercial and communication skills is essential.

This opportunity supports career development within a global Testing, Inspection and Certification business as we expand our technical capabilities in fire protection products.

Qualifications

• Exposure in fire resistance testing or assessment/certification is preferred.
• Engineering/ construction related degree or industry experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robust technical engineering reports for passive fire protection products.
• Judge relevance of fire resistance data and produce technical assessments and classifications.
• Plan and lead scope analyses and test programmes.
• Continue CPD to stay current with National, European and International Standards.
• Contribute to team and business strategy while maintaining technical integrity.
• Represent the company on standards committees and public platforms as needed.
• Assist in department development and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with the team to increase knowledge of role and services.
• Project manage workload from enquiry to delivery, meeting customer expectations.
