Job summary

DLB Associates in the United States is seeking a Fire Protection & Plumbing Engineer III to collaborate with senior design staff on commercial building projects. You will contribute to plumbing and fire protection design, develop project specifications, and lead the construction administration process in a mostly remote environment.

The role requires advanced knowledge of mechanical, fire protection and plumbing systems, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Revit) and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or fire protection engineering
• PE in related discipline
• Minimum of five years of mechanical or fire protection engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Produce fire protection and plumbing engineering documents
• Perform plumbing and fire protection design under supervision
• Review shop drawings and submittals, RFIs and punch lists
• Coordinate with project team and clients to ensure design intent
