Job summary

State of Wisconsin’s WTCS Office is seeking a Fire Education Specialist to provide technical and administrative support to the WTCS Fire Service Education and Training Team. You will coordinate with WTCS fire service coordinators, fire departments, students and the public regarding certification and testing processes.

The role offers 80% remote work with one day in the office per week, a strong State benefits package, and a 12-month probationary period.

Qualifications

• Experience providing administrative support in an office environment (scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, ordering and inventory).
• Experience managing difficult or high-pressure interactions with internal or external customers.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel functions (analyzing data, communicating findings).
