Qualifications

  • Two years (4,000 hours) of verifiable occupational experience, with 2,000 hours in the previous five years.
  • Current Wisconsin Fire and Emergency Services Instructor I Certification; FESI II preferred.
  • Driver/Operator Pumper Certification preferred.
  • Current Wisconsin Live Fire Instructor Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Eligibility for WCTC Credentialing System.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and instruct quality education programs.
  • Technology-based, simulation and scenario-based instruction desirable.

  • Deliver classroom and lab instruction in Fire/EMS programs.
