Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Financial Software Engineer for a 100% remote role in the United States. The candidate will build low-latency trading, risk, and analytics systems, partnering with quants and traders to translate models into production software.

You will design data pipelines, develop pricing libraries, and implement regulatory workflows while ensuring observability, scalability, and reliability. This is a full-time W2 position with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of software engineering experience, especially fintech.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Java, or Python (one or more).
• Solid grounding in financial markets, instruments, and risk practices.
• Hands-on experience with low-latency, high-throughput systems.
• Experience with market data systems and FIX protocol implementations.
• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance-tuning skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement low-latency trading, pricing, and risk systems in C++, Java, or Python.
• Translate models from prototypes to production-grade software.
• Build robust market data ingestion and normalization pipelines for high-volume tick data.
• Develop pricing libraries for derivatives and structured products with analytical benchmarks.
• Implement risk engines, P&L attribution, scenario analysis, and stress testing tools.
• Profile and optimize critical-path code for latency and throughput with data-driven validation.
• Lead incident response for trading-critical issues with rigor.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks.
