Job summary

Humana is seeking a Technical FinOps Analyst to join a remote team focused on cloud cost optimization and financial stewardship. You will partner with engineering, operations, and finance to drive transparency and cost efficiency across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will implement cost visibility, allocation, and chargeback programs, and you will develop dashboards for leadership to track spend, savings, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Cloud cost optimization and budget forecasting capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills and financial modeling.
• Experience with cloud cost visibility and allocation.
• Familiarity with reserved instances, spot pricing, and cloud savings.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Usage analysis to identify anomalies and optimize resources.
• Provide technical recommendations for cost-saving measures.
• Build and maintain cost allocation frameworks by team/project/service.
• Implement chargeback/showback programs for the business units.
• Collaborate with finance to set budgets and forecast spend.
• Create dashboards and reports for leadership showing spend and savings.
