Job summary

GreenPath Financial Wellness is seeking a Financial Counselor to provide compassionate, phone-based financial counseling to clients nationwide in a fully remote role. The schedule is Evening Shift (Eastern Time) with biweekly Saturday rotation, and compensation ranges from $20.35 to $22.00–$23.00 per hour depending on location and bilingual incentives.

This full-time position requires remote work from a home office and training toward HUD/NFCC certifications.

Qualifications

• Typing at least 40 words per minute with 80% accuracy.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver phone-based financial counseling to clients nationwide.
• Respond to inbound calls, client emails, and conduct outbound service-related calls.
• Gather, review, and analyze client financial information including credit reports.
• Develop individualized action plans and educational resources for clients.
• Discuss program options and applicable fees when appropriate.
• Provide housing-related counseling: pre-purchase, foreclosure prevention, rental, post-loan modification, reverse mortgage.
