Job summary

TMX Group is seeking an entry-level Financial Research Analyst to join our remote team on the US West Coast. You will research, structure, and databank critical financial data from publicly traded companies, supporting investment professionals worldwide.

You will annotate filings using proprietary software, review disclosures, and help standardize data while collaborating with colleagues to define reporting needs. Occasional overtime may occur during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting is required.
• Exceptional data entry accuracy with a zero-error mindset and attention to detail.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize proprietary software to annotate and structure SEC filings.
• Review public filings and press releases for financial disclosures and standardize, database and maintain the information.
• Collaborate with team members to establish reporting requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Work on special projects to improve breadth, depth, and accuracy of data.
• Periodically work beyond 40 hours per week during peak quarters (overtime eligible).
