Hydro North America is seeking a Financial Operations Expert to provide expert financial leadership across our North American manufacturing operations. This role partners with Plant Controllers, Regional Finance, and business leaders to resolve complex issues, drive standard financial processes, and advance finance transformation for improved operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or other relevant professional certification preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance, controlling, cost accounting, or financial operations.
• Extensive experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities and partnering with finance and operations leadership.
• Demonstrated experience leading ERP implementations and finance transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance transformation initiatives, including ERP implementations and digital finance solutions.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT, and Corporate Accounting to improve processes.
• Provide technical leadership on manufacturing accounting, inventory valuation, costing methodologies, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Analyze manufacturing performance and financial trends to develop recommendations for improved business performance.
• Develop and enhance reporting, analytics, and metrics to improve financial visibility and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing finance processes through automation and standardization.
• Lead financial assessments related to new processes and system implementations with actionable recommendations.
• Provide mentoring and knowledge sharing to Plant Controllers and regional finance teams.
• Promote continuous improvement and strong financial governance across NA finance.
