Job summary

Schwab’s Workplace Branch seeks an Education Consultant to deliver participant-centered financial education in group and individual settings, onsite and virtually. The role bridges retirement, equity compensation, and wealth planning to build trust and inspire action.

The consultant connects participants to Schwab tools and resources, uses engaging teaching methods, and supports a scalable education program across regions while driving outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Series 7 license
• Active Series 66 or Series 63/65; licenses may be obtained as a condition of employment within specified time frame
• 5+ years of successful experience in qualified retirement plans, financial planning, employee benefits, or equivalent Financial Services experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience demonstrating knowledge of ERISA, pension and trust compliance, defined contribution/defined benefit plans, non-qualified deferred compensation, and equity compensation

Responsibilities

• Deliver intentional education experiences aligned to sponsor goals and participant needs, while supporting team goals
• Translate complex retirement, equity compensation, investing, and financial planning concepts into clear, participant-friendly language using examples and stories
• Build trust through engagement with purposeful questions, prompts, polls, demonstrations, and interactive learning
• Advance Retail Extension by connecting education to Schwab resources, planning support, and retail solutions for participants
• Strengthen the end-to-end participant journey from early career habits to retirement planning, linking to Schwab resources
• Contribute to continuous improvement by giving feedback on materials and processes and testing new approaches
• Drive measurable business and participant outcomes by meeting performance expectations and fostering sponsor value
