Job summary

AML RightSource is seeking an Entry Level Financial Crimes Investigator to support transaction monitoring and KYC efforts. You will learn to review activity, verify client identities, and interpret policies to identify potential issues while collaborating with a global team.

The role includes comprehensive training during the first weeks, then core hours aligned with local time zones. A bachelor’s degree is required, and advanced Excel skills are a plus for data analysis.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to learn quickly.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, filtering, sorting) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor transactional activity to identify potential suspicious activity.
• Verify client identities and assess KYC relationships.
• Interpret and implement client-operating policies related to financial data.
• Identify data anomalies and red flags for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions violations, and escalate for second level review.
• Write clear, concise reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Use basic Excel functions and technology applications for analysis.
• Adhere to designated timeframes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Meet production and quality standards while working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
