Job summary

Mainstream Fiber Networks is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee all financial activities in the United States, driving strategic financial planning and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role partners with executive leadership to safeguard assets and optimize performance.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash management; implement controls; oversee audits and tax filings; and mentor a finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 7+ years of financial management experience.
• Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.
• Experience in telecommunications or technology industry preferred.
• Strong analytical and modeling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial plans.
• Analyze performance, KPIs, and provide reports to senior management.
• Identify cost optimization and profitability opportunities.
• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
• Implement financial controls and processes.
• Oversee AP/AR, invoicing, collections, payments.
• Collaborate on financial strategies and investments.
• Evaluate viability of new products and markets.
• Lead and mentor finance team; set goals and review performance.
