Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a Financial Analyst (Basic) to support a Sea-Based Weapons System Program Office in Dahlgren, VA. Role is mostly remote with occasional on-site support, serving on a federal program with emphasis on funding, reporting, and financial controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of working experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Strong financial and data analytics skills with project support, data collection, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage up and mitigate project risks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepares funding documents using the DAI Finance & Accounting System.
• Mantains accounting log for all funding documents.
• Conducts financial execution record keeping and analysis.
• Reconciles DAI/1002 status.
• Generates financial reports.
• Reconciles unliquidated obligations (ULOs).
• Resolves unmatched disbursements (UMDs).
• Builds DAR-Q reports.
• Conducts year-end close out of expiring funds.
• Resolves DAI/PRIDE system errors.
