DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses, check valuation assumptions, and write judgments that teach models what defensible finance looks like.

You’ll stress-test three-statement models, trace the reasoning, and deliver defensible analysis with honest assumptions and clear drivers for CFO audiences.

Flexible, remote, project-based work with compensation up to $40–$125+ per hour, with earning potential from $10k–$100k+ yearly.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required; we care about what you can do, not where you learned it.

Responsibilities

• Stress-test AI-built models on real corporate scenarios: three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and the working-capital logic underneath.
• Trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers, broken drivers, and conclusions the model's own math doesn't support.
• Write the defensible analysis when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a number you'd put in front of a CFO.
