DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses against real corporate scenarios and to document defensible judgments that guide model improvements.

Candidates should have corporate finance/FP&A exposure, strong Excel modeling skills, and the ability to clearly articulate assumptions and drivers in English. Remote, flexible project-based work with strong earning potential.

• Write the defensible analysis when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a number you'd put in front of a CFO.

Job description

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.

Compensation

Up to $40 – $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k–$100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
