Job summary

DIRECTV invites students pursuing Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics to join a ten-week remote Finance Summer Intern program. You’ll support the Audit and Finance teams on projects spanning process evaluation, data analytics, dashboards, and control testing.

Gain hands-on experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Python, and IT security basics while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergrad or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
• Understanding of key corporate financial measures and IT basics including network and system administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support Audit and Finance team members in planning and executing assigned projects.
• Assist with evaluating business processes, information systems, and internal controls.
• Analyze financial, operational, system, or control data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Document procedures, analysis, conclusions, and supporting evidence clearly.
