DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses and confirm the underlying assumptions and accounting logic. You’ll teach models what defensible finance work looks like by tracing numbers back through logic and providing clear, CFO-ready judgments.

The role focuses on stress-testing models, exposing misalignments, and delivering transparent, evidence-based conclusions for real corporate scenarios. Flexible, remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: explanations as the training signal.
• No degree required.

Responsibilities

• Stress-test AI-built models on real corporate scenarios: three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and working-capital logic.
• Trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers, broken drivers, and conclusions the model's own math doesn't support.
• Write the defensible analysis when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a number you'd put in front of a CFO.
