Job summary

Voyage Advisory LLC is seeking a highly motivated Business Systems Analyst Consultant with a finance/accounting background to own end-to-end analysis, drive requirements, and articulate business needs to vendors and technical teams. This is a business-facing role focused on accounting transformations in a fast-paced consulting environment.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of BA experience in finance/accounting, GAAP knowledge, and proven skills in elicitation, process mapping, and UAT.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Business Systems Analysis experience in finance/accounting.
• Strong familiarity with process flow diagramming and standardization.
• CPA a plus, not required.
• Ability to own BA work and lead elicitation sessions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview stakeholders to identify current-state finance workflows.
• Review invoicing, cash application, AR/AP, close and reporting workflows.
• Lead requirements gathering and sign-off on business requirements.
• Represent business stakeholders to vendors and technical teams.
• Support accounting transformations and system implementations.
• Participate in UAT and validate data, defects, and sign-off.
