Job summary

Voyage Advisory seeks a Finance & Accounting Business Systems Analyst Consultant with a finance/accounting background to lead business-facing analysis efforts. You will own requirements conversations, produce core BA deliverables, and represent the business perspective to vendors and technical teams.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in finance/accounting, familiarity with GAAP, and strong process improvement experience.

Qualifications

5–10 years of Business Systems Analysis experience in a finance/accounting environment.
Experience presenting and eliciting requirements with stakeholders and vendors.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting processes (AR, AP, reconciliations, month-end close).
Experience with accounting transformations and system implementations (GL/billing, data conversion, testing).
Excellent communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Interview stakeholders to map current-state finance workflows.
Review workflows: invoicing, cash application, AR, AP, close, treasury, and reporting.
Lead requirements sessions and gain sign-off on business requirements.
Translate business needs for vendors and technical teams; validate proposed solutions.
Support accounting transformations and system implementations; document changes and coordinate testing.
Participate in UAT and business validation; track defects and sign-off.
